Interesting this is released by the FBI on Friday before the long Memorial Day weekend. Wray was recommended by Rosenstein & Sessions to replace the fired James Comey.
He has this fleshy smirky appearance that I don't trust ... in addition to being recommended by Rosenstein & Sessions. My thinking, if Trump is re-elected Wray will be gone ... Trump will dump him early on in his second term.

I dont expect much will come of this.
Oct 2, 2020 (CNN) FBI Director Wray is suggesting more training courses for agents after a review of the Flynn case......

Reviewing it...
Yeah, to make sure that they didn’t miss anything that needs further cover-up.

They aren't called FamousButIncompetent for nothing. It took whem more than 4 years to find their way out ofthe building. I beleive they MUST come out of DOJ, have an effective IG AND be subject to review and investigation by at least two outside Agencies or this WILL happen again.

I think Wray will be the first one gone after Trump is re-elected. Hopefully, we will have the House and Senate too.

It should be far too late to save Wrays job. He sat on obvious malfeasance for years until he was FORCED to finally make a show of doing something about it.
Fire his azz

I'm torn (for now)...now that the info has been garnered and protected, I feel safer about him doing an internal - can't put that toothpaste back in a tube and destroy it now.
Unless he gets some folks to come forward and finish opening the can of worms, I will go with the crew that says it's just a CYA cover-up...even though his "A" wasn't involved in the original malfeasance.

So, what was it that woke Rip Van Wray up?

That division is similar to an internal affairs office in a police department. "Department of Coverups, how may I trace your call and illegally wiretap your phone starting now and lasting forever?"

Now Wray can deny Senate investigators access to evidence, saying its part of an ongoing investigation. Bingo.
Trump is a gullible cretin. Can anyone name a single top appointment he has made since becoming President who wasn't a full-fledged Swampie or completely neutered/compromised?

This is laughable. Wray should be charged as an accomplice at this point. A review? Why? So he can trot over to Congress with a feel-good report that says hes changing policies to make sure it never happens again. Hardy, har, har.
