Under the third and fourth phases of the plan, all businesses, houses of worship, libraries and museums, and all recreational and sports activities will be open and able to operate at 100 percent capacity.

Time for a cruise!!
I’ll bet this foolhardy action will result in a spike of at least 2,000,000 deaths in Alaska in the next 14 days!
At least I can see a concert...
Told you at least a million times not to exaggerate.
Can’t be more that 1,999,999 deaths...
“Ill bet this foolhardy action will result in a spike of at least 2,000,000 deaths in Alaska in the next 14 days”!
Or closer to 3 million. 1 million in anchorage alone.
Joe Biden, is that you?!
Alaska Ping.
Mike Dunleavy. The former NBA coach?
I can imagine people flying to the lake at the Anchorage Hotel for takeout. Good food.
Nonsense. Only one “phase” is neccessary-—open up, let my people go and stop this unconstitutional tyranny. Will anyone remember come time to vote?
I agree. That mandate is death-knell for every business that relies on tourism in this state as well. Tourism is the #2 industry in Alaska. And for 10 deaths of older people with underlying health Issues, we have destroyed far more lives. Thats what we get for hiring a governor that used to be a teacher. The leftists he worked with for years infected Dunleavy.
So even in phase 4, “fully open”, there are face masks and 6’ social distancing.
Great to know what the Lower 49 have to look forward to!
Geez, they shut down Alaska?
Okay, it’s beyond “everyone is a moron time”.
Did you not bet the memo? The cases will spike within 24 hours of opening in Republican states by 8,000% and they will all end up dying as hospitals run out of ventilators.
So even in phase 4, fully open, there are face masks and 6 social distancing.
Great to know what the Lower 49 have to look forward to!

My impression when going out shopping or other other errand, is that the 6 social distancing is, in actual practice, an accordioning distance that constantly fluctuates between 6 inches and 6 feet.
My sense down here is that that may be fine if it is bumping into total strangers, but if you are being at all friendly with someone within 6 feet and without a mask, who knows what the local enforcers are gonna do to you.
I bet booze was not even touched!
I was informed last night that Kotzebue has it’s first COVID patient.
Great, just great. I hope they don’t quarantine us. I have a flight on Friday.
