As an American citizen and consumer, as of the first part of this year, in response to the slovenly street vendors and lavatory specialists posing as scientist cousin to the 3 stooges, I abstain parting good money for direct products from the Communist People’s Republic of China.

Go to any one of the big retailers' websites, look at the reviews, and you'll find that increasingly one of the biggest questions is "where was it made?"

I started “the question” years ago, with cookware. I know ‘Allclad’ from PA., but my wallet knows Tramontina from Brazil. I tried all-American cast iron, don’t cook frequently enough to do it right.
I do own the French stuff you can wash, wallet screamed, too. No Chinese pans.
