A top Republican senator demanded a deeper explanation from President Trump about his removal of the State Department watchdog while criticizing the ousted inspector general over a flawed investigation into British ex-spy Christopher Steeles dossier.

Hey Chuck: BECAUSE HE CAN.
O.K. Grassley, what have you done for us lately.
If Lindsey Graham is saying the same thing as Grassley I am going to puke. Let me check his twitter feed.
Even Lindsey Graham had nothing to say. This is a nothing burger.
Ya think?
I guess you are waiting with bated breath EVERY time some ‘clown’ says, in a report to be released next week, I have a guest on Fri that will blow the lid off everything, I realize these things take time but look what the LIBs have accomplished in the last 6 months.
They Impeached the duly elected President of the US.
They- with help from MSM (but I repeat myself) have brought the country to its knees with an overexuberant job of reporting ANOTHER life threatening malady.
When the ‘end of the world’ is coming happens 5 or 6 times in your(my) lifetime and throw in some other potentially dangerous ‘bugs’ etc the ‘chicken little’ bit gets old and YES, the only way to convince me is to have it ‘kill me’. I lived through TB, Polio from the 40s and it went up from there.
If I were to cough and sneeze and die tomorrow ‘they’ would blame it on the beerflu when I am sure they can do a thorough check and find MANY other mitigating circumstances with 80 being on top of the list.
Never mind that the investigators have been biased, dirty. Mueller? Atkinson? Neither followed the law, but Grassley has a knee-jerk affinity for anything labeled "whistleblower." No such thing as a dirty whistleblower in Grassley's book.
Congress needs to get the Federal Debt and entitlements under control before they expend any of their lack of energy on bashing Trump further.

Imagine the Schiff storm were he to casually mention in passing that he was going to look into suspending the pay of the ‘lawmakers’ until they start ATTEMPTING to balance some budgets and pass some legislation and get their butts back to work or consider all work from their home districts for the majority of the year etc....
Trump would be foolish to respond, in effect, “No, I’m not going to tell you why I fired him”. He can provide a smoking response and turn it into a great press release. Surely there is somebody on his staff who is smart enough to put this together for him.
Because he can!
I believe that the president’s only duty is to simply report it Chuck.
