Eating out is not essential.
It is for the guy who owns the restaurant.
And his or her staff.
And the suppliers.
And the people who work for the suppliers.
And the people who package the food for the suppliers.
And the people who make the packaging for the suppliers.
And on and on and on..

In order to attract customers capitalist businesses should lower their prices and lose money. Who needs profits?
[for the idiots who need it, here is the sarcasm tag]
For must CUSTOMERS, eating out is entirely discretionary. That’s one reason why I expect many restaurants to close permanently as a result of this. The shutdowns were bad enough, but the longer-term impact of reduced discretionary income will be devastating for businesses like this.

I've always cringed at the concept of "non-essential" businesses. Earning a living is ESSENTIAL!
Who the hell gets to define what "non-essential" is anyways in regads to my ability to feed my family?
Any place that charges $.25 for Yum is no place to go.
Yum should come with the meal.
Those who have jobs that require travel will say that eating in restaurants
is essential.
