I’m either leaving my phone home or wrapping it in foil so it can’t send or receive a signal.

If they want to trace me, they’re going to have to work for it. I’m not helping them by providing cell phone data of what I go and where I spend my money, which I use cash for.

Test your tinfoil before trusting it. leave phone on, wrap it, then call it from another phone.

Funny you should mention the foil thing...

Last night we were on-line looking for something to stick our phones in while out and about. Found some well-reviewed items, but the best reviewed were very pricey. So we started experimenting at home to see what we were dealing with.

Signal got through a metal lunchbox and a cast iron dutch oven. Couldn’t make calls, but texts still got through. Then hubby got out the tin foil. A few wraps of that and we were good to go. No call reception and no texts could get through good ol’ Reynolds Wrap Heavy Duty.

But I don’t think we’ll be seeing that used in a commercial any time soon...
