And he was extremely rude to her. He basically told her that if he hadn’t heard about it, it isn’t true — that she was lying. Then after she hung up, and after a break, he made fun of her using that lispy thing he does to portray idiots: “Mithter Linbaugh! Mithter Limbaugh!”
That’s when I turned him off.
I must have tuned out at the break. I didn’t hear that.
He needs to vet things, but he needs to be respectful and
check things out too.
I didn’t see him as calling her a liar.
I just saw him covering his posterior. She was making a
pretty bold claim.
He can’t just act as if everything said on the air is 100%
accurate, when it’s a bit out there.
I don’t think she deserved to be ridiculed.
Sometimes Rush can be a real jackass.

I didn’t think he was being rude. The phenomenal amount of disinformation that is flying back and forth right now is staggering.
He was trying to tell her that he wasn’t going to promote the idea that Inslee had given family separation orders without having checked the validity.
As America’s Anchorman and 43,000,000 weekly listeners, Rush has an awesome responsibility to make sure what he says is correct.

BS. He was not rude to her. He was trying to explain that anyone can call a show and make a claim. He’s right to do so. He also gave her an opportunity to explain further and she really didn’t do a good job of that. Had you stayed on, he addressed in further detail after the break.
