Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden's lead over President Donald Trump now stands at five points, but Trump has an edge in the critical battleground states that could decide the electoral college, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS.
In the new poll, 51% of registered voters nationwide back Biden, while 46% say they prefer Trump, while in the battlegrounds, 52% favor Trump and 45% Biden.

This is registered voters, so President Trump is likely doing better with likely voters. But the battleground states are the key with the Electorial College, where he’s polling ahead.

FYI: Trump won those battlegrounds by 2% in 2016. If he is winning by 5% now, that isn’t a “tilt” it’s a HUGE bump.
The Democrats in the media never learn: winning California and New York by one vote each is the same result as winning them by 10,000,000 votes each. If Trump is shown to be leading in battleground states in these heavily slanted polls, then he’s doing great.

Even so, this is good news for president Trump considering that even CNN is showing him ahead in the battleground states. Plus it’s a poll of registered voters, not likely voters.

Any poll that says Biden is ahead anywhere didn’t ask the right questions. Like, is it okay to have a creepy, alzheimer’s patient who doesn’t know the difference between his wife and his sister in charge of the U.S.?
