A friend emailed me recently to say that on May 1st, in his opening monologue, Tucker Carlson made the statement, ”You don’t want to live in a society where the most powerful agency in government imprisons people it doesn’t like. That is horrifying.”
Our friend lamented that he wishes there is someone who could “get Steve’s story to Tucker” because what happened to Flynn is so similar to what happened to Steve, my husband – former pit bull Republican congressman from Texas.
Numerous reports verify that Rep. Stockman was quite a fierce critic of and whistle-blower on the Obama administration.
As a result, he was pursued for four years by the Public Integrity Section of the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the nonprofit division of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) – the very same corrupted team that went after Tea Party and other conservative nonprofit organizations around 2012. The DOD took their story before four grand juries before they were even able to obtain an indictment.

If Stockman is completely innocent of any crime, there should be enough conservatives to chip in money for an appeal or a conservative attorney who will take his case pro bono to appeal. Why no organized effort to file an appeal to free Stockman? The appeal would be heard in a Texas court where it should be possible to get a neutral jury. If he were innocent why don’t Glen Beck, Hannity, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh and others start beating the drum?
As to the DOJ targeting Stockman, I have no doubt it occurs, particularly under Democrat administrations. The larger organizations become the more corrupt they become. The same holds true for big business.
How do you end corruption at the DOJ? You name an honest independent special prosecutor to investigate prosecutorial misconduct. Trump, Sessions, and Barr have had over 3 years to do so. Where’s the beef?

You know Obama holdovers or someone who hates Trump who works at the IRS would have leaked them in a minute, if they thought it would take down Trump..

He owed his rise in Illinois politics to the Cecil Partee/Stroger/Beavers organization. When Sandi Jackson of the rival JJ Jackson/Operation Push organization challenged and beat the Beavers daughter for Chicago Alderperson, Obama sicked the DOJ on the Jacksons.
Yes the Jacksons were a little dirty. But they were no more dirty than half the Illinois delegation. There are Republican Illinois congress critters far more dirty than the Jacksons. But Obama did not target them. He targetted the family that dis-respected him and his friends.

I personally think the Obama Administration was gather intelligence on all of his potential Republican replacements.
He figure it would never be uncovered, because they could destroy anyone who got the nomination, it had worked all the previous times, so why wouldn’t it work this time.
One thing is, Obama is a natural campaigner, he could see how terrible Hillary was and all the baggage she was carrying so as the election drew near, the spying got more aggressive.
When Trump won, they all panicked and realized Trump could expose it all, the only thing left to do is ruin Trump’s Presidency and get him to resign or impeached, figuring the Republicans would eventually toss him overboard...
