President Donald Trump slammed former FBI Director James Comey on Fox & Friends Friday, calling him “dumb as a rock” and saying that “there’s something wrong with him.”
“You don’t have Clapper, and Brennan, who’s sleaze, and a guy like Comey, who’s a sick man, I mean Comey’s a sick man. He played it so cute with Hillary. He was trying to play it cute. He was trying to help her. And, ultimately, he might have hurt her. He was trying to help her so much that he might have ended up hurting her,” Trump said.
He continued, “And he’s just a stupid guy. He’s dumb as a rock, and he’s a sick guy. There’s something wrong with him. But it’s all coming out and I love to watch it step-by-step, day-by-day, thousands and thousands of pages.”
The top officials, Trump said, must pay a heavy price for their actions to target him and his associates.
The interview comes after House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff released key documents from the Russia investigation overnight and after the Justice Department dropped its case against Army Lt. Gen Michael Flynn in a historic move on Thursday.

Comey is indeed dumber than dirt. He lives in an alternate universe where he can just selectively ignore the Constitution according to political bias.
And this stupidity will cost Comey a great deal.
Truth is, incivility is the only way, the ONLY way to communicate with them.
If they are spoken to in civil tones, they view that with contempt as a sign of weakness, and either ignore it, or take it as a sign they should step up whatever nefarious activities they are involved in.
There is no dealing civilly with these people, and it has been this way for decades. We are at war with them, and it has taken someone like Trump to demonstrate that to those of us on our side who haven’t either been paying attention or faced up to it.
Was on the treadmill with Fox on during the telephone interview...almost didn’t notice when my goal was reached and it time to move to the weights....
I watched it. What was painful?
Brian did his usual, small ball gotcha questions with little to no success, the blonde axed about the feelings, and Steve did most of the questions, which President Trump handled.
How did I miss the pain?
Don’t be a priss - part of Trump’s strength is that he calls it like it is....too un-PC for some who don’t realize how far they’ve been absorbed into the PC-Spider’s Web...
It’s wonderful. Long overdue. Someone finally saying those self important emperors are naked as a jaybird.
And Trump controls the narrative. He is the master of the stooge style eye poke as a debating device. And the moron democrats simply cannot help but respond.

Comey is probably a rather intelligent individual. I know people like him. Arrogant, but try to hide their arrogance, but can’t. It comes out when they think they are clever. You can be intelligent (as in certain skills, knowledge, and pseudo-intellectualism) but really not have wits, street smarts, or very good strategic intuition. This is how I see Comey.
Trump comes off sounding like a block-head sometimes, the way he repeats phrases and descriptors and uses base language sometimes, but his intuition and his wits could run circles around Comey.

“Hitler invading Russia and declaring war on the US”
His invasion of Russia was elective. But last week I heard Victor Davis Hansen make a point I had never heard. That once Hitler invaded Russia, he HAD to quickly declare war on the USA. And he did so within 6 months.
The reason was the transatlantic convoys were a nightmare to the nazis and ultimately what killed them. As long as Germany claimed they were not at war with the USA, it was very tough for them to attack US flagged ships and US Navy escorts out in the Atlantic were strictly hands off. Shooting at one caused a lot of stress for the Germans diplomatically.
Also in September of 41 FDR had already instituted a “shoot on sight” policy towards the German navy.
So according to VDH, the we were at war with the Germans in the Atlantic, but under the fiction of no war with the USA, they couldn’t attack out warships, and they couldn’t attack inside out 12 mile limit.
His admirals were begging him to declare war so they could run wild on the east coast and stop those convoys pouring supplies into Murmansk and England.
Interesting talk. And not at all taking away from your larger point. Just want to share a VDH point of view. I always thought Hitler had always declared war out of some misguided solidarity with the Japanese. But he was desperate to stop those convoys.

Not at this point. It has been 5 years of FBI sedition and not a soul in the agency came forward. Not a single Serpico.
Add in decades of illegal abuses and it should be pretty clear that the FBI is completely corrupt and infested.
You are right, Trump is not a wordsmith. However, while many of us (me included) sometimes cringe at what he says, his blunt manner and fearless stream of his thoughts have grown on me even if his vernacular has not.
He is truly the most transparent President in my lifetime. He rarely leaves you wondering what he is thinking and the media just cannot process him because he is so unusual in their own world of carefully crafted statements. This is why they find him so “crude” even beyond their obvious bias.
Trump is not “of their world” and he never has been. They were fascinated and thrilled by him before he ran for President, but now they hate it.
