Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell is holding House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff to his own standards and calling on the former impeachment manager to release dozens of Russia probe transcripts.

A big development in the fight over 53 secret interviews the House Intelligence Committee conducted during its Trump-Russia investigation. Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell has sent a letter to chairman Adam Schiff notifying him that transcripts of all 53 interviews, over 6,000 pages in all, have been cleared for public release. "All of the transcripts, with our required redactions, can be released to the public without any concerns of disclosing classified material," Grenell wrote to Schiff in a letter dated May 4.
The Intel Committee did the first probe into Russia's 2016 campaign interference and allegations of Trump-Russia collusion. Even today, its findings make up most of what we know about the affair. As part of that investigation -- it was run by then-majority Republicans -- the committee interviewed some key witnesses in the Trump-Russia matter: Donald Trump Jr., Steve Bannon, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, Michael Cohen, Hope Hicks, and many more.
Two years ago Schiff's Committee voted to release the transcripts. Regardless, that hasn't happened and Schiff is blaming the Trump administration for the delay.
Meanwhile, Republicans on Capitol Hill have also been pressuring Schiff to live up to his word.
How long will Grenell wait until he releases the files himself?

I would rather they are released this coming Monday.
It’s not Trump’s job. It’s Bill Barr’s job to bring people to justice. The left wants Trump to try to interfere so they can start a 5-alarm fire against him, and probably even trigger another impeachment.
Trump has to be patient with Barr just like we’re having to. Allowing him to build his case as he sees fit. Either that or he can fire him. Those are his only options. We’re not living in Sadam Hussein’s Iraq where he can be judge jury and executioner. Things have to go through proper channels.
Don’t wait for Schiff to do it. Just release the damn transcripts.
Right now or in the month of May and the news story is the Democrats versus America and Democrats vs freedom !!!!

Schiff will lawyer up and that lawyer will get an Obama appointee in the DC Circuit Court to issue an order blocking the release of these files. Bet on it.

I understand your point. And, admittedly, Grenell hasn’t made a move yet. So, perhaps he feels constrained in some way.
But I see this a little bit like the Pope telling Stalin what to do. Stalin said, “How many divisions does the Pope have?”
The documents are now unclassified. They have been cleared for release at all levels. Anyone in Grenell’s office can upload them to a government website. Just — push the button. It’s done.
How does that get undone? How can a judge stop it? What law is being violated?
Judges have power if people think they have power. The Trump Administration understands that on this particular point, no judge has any power at all.

Just because the media put Schiff on TV a million times and he is a chairman of a committee, he’s still a corrupt shill and not to bright. His time is coming. Hannity says tomorrow is the BIG day.
