Also, they really do believe that they're morally and intellectually superior and that we're all peons. They believe that we owe it to them to serve their lives, theri objectives, their purposes, and they will "generously" allow us just enough to keep us functioning.
The absolute worst thing that could ever happen to the left is to achieve what they want us to believe is their objective -- a world where nobody is in need, therefore nobody needs help from the great them.
