Chicago’s Democratic Mayor Lori Lightfoot threatened citations and arrests for those who failed to comply with stay-at-home orders and held parties instead.
“I’m not playing. Stay home (your own home). Save lives,” Lightfoot tweeted along with a video of her statement Saturday.
Lightfoot was previously criticized for getting a haircut — and taking a photo with her stylist that ignored social distancing recommendations — despite the fact that she was telling her constituents to stay home.

Mayor Lightfoot, have you considered enforcing the law that prohibits shooting people? Even in Illinois, that law is an actual statute with some serious penalties. Someone is shooting and killing many persons in your city. We don’t know who shoots them because you rarely ever make arrests. But we do know that the shooters and killers must hate black Chicagoans, especially young men, the overwhelming majority of victims. By the way, if it helps, most of the shooters probably have to leave home to shoot their victims. I notice little decline in the shootings during this shutdown, so your police department needs to increase enforcement of the no-murder and no-shooting laws. Or are they complicit anti-black racists too?
Of course this does not include the brothers neighborhood where they are free to keep shooting each other, with or without a mask.
I think the root cause of this power thing with leftists is since they have rejected God in their life they have to act like God. The Paradox is when they try to act like God, they act totally the opposite. Instead of Love they have hate in their heart.
And nobody is going to enforce closing Mosques or them keeping distance.
