Gretchen Whitmer slammed the protesters who gathered inside the state's Capitol building on Thursday to demand she rescind her stay-at-home orders, saying they represented the “worst racism and awful parts” of U.S. history. “Some of the outrageousness of what happened at our capitol depicted some of the worst racism and awful parts of our history in this country,” Whitmer said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “The behavior you've seen in all of the clips is not representative of who we are in Michigan,” she added.

That’s what I’d like to know since the legislature is majority Republican....You’d think statistically that a Republican governor should have been in place due to a majority legislature...but Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Michigan have all majority Republican legislatures but Democrat governors....something stinks mathematically.

I find it extremely amusing that the leftist loons are making a great effort to point out that those who want to get back to work and return their lives to normal are overwhelming white. They are thus implying that those who would rather not work and who don’t mind being wards of the state are mostly black. I thought we weren’t supposed to notice things like that.

Simple This is calling out her Detroit base to rally behind her. She used the big virus break out numbers in Detroit to lockdown the entire state. Race was the reason she banned golf and boating. She wasn’t about to let a bunch of white people out on their boats and golfing while people in Detroit were stuck at home.
