While I agree with reopening the economy, provided proper safe guards are in place, such as the wearing of PPE, when appropriate, I question the wisdom of holding concerts with thousands of screaming people in attendance. How the heck are they going to enforce the "social distance" distances mentioned in this piece? Not going to happen unless the concert is indoors and seating arrangements are forced upon the attendees.

I base my concert after seeing the spike in cases Louisiana experienced after Mardi Gras, and same for many states after spring breakers returned.

Fully-informed consent.

Anyone going to a concert is aware of the risks. The fact is, young (i.e. your avg concert-goer) and healthy people don't get it as easily as their compliment. Further, Wisconsin had voting and its numbers didn't spike. Finally, people working the venues need income, they need to be productive.

Will we see some increased cases or fatalities in MO? Maybe, but it'll be smaller than the suicides.
