Can someone please help me? Is HCQ+ZP+Z now the standard medical protocol for treating CV-19...and if not what the heck is holding up this apparently great treatment??

I do believe that Dr. Zelenski is working on just such a question. Using the VA post treatment research rubric which showed the failure he will report all his results against some kind of statistical expectation. If you see it first will you ping me? Maybe some few weeks though I have not heard when we can expect the report.

Look, the HCQ people have to submit to some sort of analysis that will produce a meaningful result.
First, it's a miracle drug that "saves everybody"
Then it's "It saves everybody because HCQ suppresses inflammation in the lungs"
Then, it's "well, they gave it too late, what do you expect, once you have inflammation in the lungs it doesn't work".
Then, it's "you have to start it right away", without a comparison to all the minimally ill people who recover with no treatment.
I have said over and over that I believe Didier Raoult, that HCQ + azithromycin exhibits an antiviral effect on SARS CoV 2.
Just how this actual antiviral effect plays into treating real people with various stages of SARS CoV 2 infection remains to be seen. It's been used routinely in US hospitals for six to eight weeks, and the opinion of people who have treated lots of patients is becoming increasingly negative.
3,345,207 confirmed cases, 238,649 died or 7.1% without HCQ
3,207 given HCQ, 15 died (who were treated at least 3 days w/ HCQ) or 0.47%
Given that the 3,207 treated were in France and not in NY, we probably don't have to consider outright fraud as no Democrats are involved.

I think that 1 death out of 55 infected cases is about the rate in the general population. I do not think this is the rate in a nursing home that becomes widely infected. The death rate in such a nursing home is seemingly much higher
I didn’t see or hear anything about how the NH staff did on HCQ. Did I overlook that or is it missing?

And of people symptomatic enough to require treatment by a medical professional (i.e. the ones who were given the malaria drug) higher?
Note that I don’t have a strong opinion about the malaria drug, and am looking at this from a pure numbers perspective.

Precisely. The nursing home population skews 100% to the elderly (high-risk) and is not representative of a cross-section of the United States. If anything; the expected death rate should be much higher among the nursing home population than in the general population.
