Nicolle Wallace got up on her high horse, cracked the whip, and began circling the wagons around Joe Biden.
On her MSNBC show this afternoon, Wallace said, as someone who was once "a part of the Republican Party," that when it comes to Tara Reade, "the right" is not being "intellectually honest," and is instead "running a smear campaign against Joe Biden." In contrast, those honest old Democrats are simply seeking "consistency" about #MeToo. Wallace ended her anti-conservative diatribe by warning, "everyone should proceed with caution about statements made around this on the right."

And Nicolle Wallace has done well by her disloyalty, going from insecure gigs as a Senate and campaign press aide to much better and higher-paying media jobs. McCain was such an odd character that I wonder if he delighted in seeing Palin get skewered in spite of the damage that it did to his campaign.
She has called COVID-19 “Trump’s Katrina”, which is both a smear to Bush and Trump. She is not just not a loyal Republican, she uses the rhetoric of the far Left.

This reflected McCain's oddball personality, which made him an unmanageable candidate. One cannot but wonder though if that is why GOP big-money business interests supported him without a strong effort at an intervention or workaround so as to give him and the campaign a chance to defeat Obama. Then and now, a segment of nominally GOP aligned big business and agricultural interests preferred Obama's open borders immigration and trade policies and even wanted Obamacare so as to force equivalent employee benefit costs onto competitors.
