The loyalty and enthusiasm of Donald Trump voters could very well mean the difference for the president in the November election.
The most recent Emerson College survey found that not only does Trump outdistance Biden in voter enthusiasm, but a solid majority of voters believe he will win the election.
And according to the latest Emerson College Pollings survey, Democrats appear to be throwing in the towel. While Biden leads President Trump in a head-to-head matchup, 48%-42%, when voters overall were asked who they really think will win in November, its a Trump blowout, 57%-43%.
Trumps supporters have legendary loyalty and have stuck with him through the impeachment process and in the coronavirus fight. Both should have also energized his critics to vote him out of office.
But the Emerson voting enthusiasm numbers show that isnt the case.
Emerson found that Trump has a sizable 19-point advantage in the enthusiasm gap, 64%-45%. Some 36% of his supporters said they are extremely excited to vote for Trump, and 28% said they are very excited. For Biden, those numbers are 22% and 23%.
Biden wins the mildly excited category, with 29% to Trump’s 22%.
Would the Democrats have been more excited if Bernie Sanders were the nominee? I think the “very excited” number would be higher, but overall enthusiasm would still find Trump far ahead. There are enough sane Democrats left who realize what a Bernie Sanders presidency would mean and not be enthused about voting for a socialist.

“Its actually very easy to do. I love doing it.”
Great tactic. You deserve a promotion. Use the stratagems of war, asymmetric war. We are in it and will be for the rest of our lives, unfortunately. Battles every day. Enemies never stop unless incarcerated or eliminated. Witness history and current events. The deconstruction of the republic continues apace.
“Excellent post. Yes, its flabbergasting that they cant connect the dots.”
Totally agree, but they will. People vote with their wallets and come November this is economy will continue to have 30+ million unemployed, and a million lost small businesses. Bush lost 1992 due to a failed domestic policy.
“Maintain armed situational awareness at all times.”
A FReeper tagline (forgot who)...Be polite, be courteous, be prepared to kill anyone you meet.
You are exactly right on all points.
I forgot to mention that I say something like “My Bernie friends in Denver are about 90% sure they’re going to vote Green Party to send a strong message to the DNC. We must send a strong message to the thieves who have screwed Bernie over so much”. Then I slowly shake my head out of deep concern and disgust.
I’ve learned to approach the brain washed fools with things they can relate to on a personal level. They are too stupid to see the big picture and it must be brought down to a level which they can relate to.
I see SHTF possibly this summer but definitely soon after Nov. 3. No matter the outcome of the election, there will be major trouble, imo.
No way will it be 30 million.
“No way will it be 30 million.”
It already is.
Not just for public sector employees. Trump’s economy was the best thing that ever happened to the solvency of everyone’s pension funds, IRAs, general investments, etc.

I think originally that was a quote by Mad Dog Mattis.

Bush had Ross Perot fighting against him in 1992. Is there a Ross Perot in 2020?
I donno. The situation looks grim. After all...
She Can’t Lose
-2016
Was so incredibly accurate.
Trump crossed 79m Twit followers this week.
Let’s assume that 10% are bots (8m) and 10% are foreigners (Iranians, etc) and DemoKKKrats (8m)=16m
That means Trump, based on Twit following, should be around 64m voters. Twit people vote. They are activists.
NOW add the fact that Rush Limbaugh said he now has 40m weekly listeners (up from 20m just three years ago). Let’s assume that at least 25% of them-—10m-—are NOT on Twitter. Reasonable, no?
That would mean Trump is in the 70m neighborhood.
Unemployment is going to go down. I’m not going to go back and forth with you.
Thanks much.
The ‘POLLS’ are twisted from the start.
Those who are paying for the polls want their own results, and the poll companies are giving them that.
Massive voter fraud is the ONLY way that the Dems can win in November—and they are planning exactly that.
ONLY mail in voting is what they are after & we CAN NOT allow that to happen. Too easy to discard a mail in ballot-—but NOT very easy to throw me out of the line at my local polling place.
Bush 41 lost because he raised taxes.
Trump's policies resulted in the lowest unemployment rate in history before the pandemic.
“Bush had Ross Perot fighting against him in 1992. Is there a Ross Perot in 2020?”
He didn’t need Ross to lose. Clinton won the moment he said, “I caaarre abouut your children as much as you do.”
People voting for Ross wouldn’t have voted for Bush. They knew what they were voting for and they knew Clinton would win. It was a protest vote. Bush had zero domestic policies and led to terrible unemployment.
“Unemployment is going to go down. Im not going to go back and forth with you.”
Well, stomp off but just remember this is the Internet and you’ll meet lots of people who don’t agree with with you. Be prepared for a good cry.
