Earlier this month, I wrote a column asking what Democrats should do about sexual assault allegations against Joe Biden, the party's presumptive nominee for president. My answer? Not much. The accusation made by Tara Reade, a former Biden staffer from his days in the Senate during the early 1990s, didn't strike me as especially convincing, so Democrats, I suggested, could move forward without much concern. Though toward the end of the column I included two caveats: If Reade offered further corroboration of her claims or if evidence emerged of a larger pattern of abusive actions toward women on Biden's part, that could well change my views of the matter.
Just two weeks later, both of my conditions have been met.

What will matter is that Biden has set himself up as a moral arbiter on issues of sexual harassment and violence, insisting we must "believe all women," and that in the fall of 2018 he and many other members of his party sought to destroy the reputation of Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh for allegations of sexual assault that were less convincingly corroborated than those Reade has lodged against Biden.
The Democratic nominee for president and his party are ruthless political operators who seek above all else to destroy their enemies and help themselves, all the while setting themselves up as impartial moral authorities. This will be the message, driven home over and over again: that claims of purity and impartiality are pretense, transparent fakes. Democrats might posture like they're better than Republicans, including the president, but they aren't. They're every bit as bad. They're just more dishonest about it.
The Biden campaign's effort to portray itself as a moral reset from the debasement of the Trump years will run into this counter-message like a power sander.

I am thinking that this farce will run until the DNC convention. Then something big will “break” and Biden will be either physically or legally unable to continue. DNC will hold it’s convention and select either:
H. Clinton
M. Obama
A. Como
Or some combination of them to be their ticket. I personally think they will float a Como/Obama ticket.
The Democratic Party worships the Gods of corruption, sexual perversion, self-proclaimed moral piety, hypocrisy, propaganda, mass media domination, name-calling, prejudice and hate.
They lie so often they contradict their previous lies, and then send the previous lies down the memory hole.
They then slander anyone who dares to call them on it.

I think like it or not, many in the Democratic National Committee still privately express strong concern about Biden’s mental faculties. This scandal could provide an “out” for Biden so a replacement candidate can show up, one vastly younger like Tulsi Gabbard or Amy Klobuchar.
Oh Lawood, not this again! Old Joe could rape kids on the capitol steps and the msm and fellow dims would never turn the support away.
This is why I would not push this story so fast - let him accept the nomination, then blow him up. The alternatives listed are abhorrent - but let’s not give them a head start. Think of Eagleton in ‘72.
It occurs to me that once Biden’s senility is more widely recognized and Ms. Reade’s accusations aren’t seriously challenged, the Dems will have adequate reasons to remove Ol’ Joe from the ticket and replace him (shades of Thomas Eagleton). The question then becomes, “Who?” They’re not so dumb as to bring back Bernie although he would have a legitimate claim.
May God protect Tara Reade.
I have a suspicion that she got this far, alive, only because it was decided by Soros, Hillary, DNC insiders and the Deep State that Biden was a wimpy stalking horse ready for a dynamic replacement at any moment.

Tara put on a lot of weight and let herself go. She was once a beauty when Joe almost raped her. Sad story. God will punish Joe, just wait.
I don’t think this goes anywhere. The left really does not care if we see them as hypocrites. They really don’t mind being seen as outraged only for liberal women while they throw any woman who could damage their side under the bus. Yes, it’s shameful, but they have no shame. The woman who corroborated Reade’s story still supports Biden. I think I read that even Reade herself supports Biden. If women who believe it is true (and maybe the “victim” herself) support Biden, then this “story” is DOA.
Joe also has US attorney Scott Brady’s Ukrainian investigation simmering under the surface. This is the US attorney from Pittsburgh who was appointed the same time Jensen (Flynn case) was appointed. Brady was charged with verifying Rudy Giuliani’s treasure trove of Ukrainian information, Ukrainian sworn statements, bank records, etc. Trump’s gotta be praying they drag this guy over the nomination finish line.

I think the DNC is very carefully considering their options. Prior to the virus outbreak they were likely looking at the question, “Whom can we run against Orangeman and his roaring economy? Who is disposable in the sense that if he/she/it loses, then we can blame the economy for the loss and move on? And if he/she/it wins would be a tolerable puppet for us?” But the virus shutdown has damaged the economy very badly (and continues to do so) and presents them with a new opportunity. Now the question is, “”Whom can we run against Orangeman and his wrecked economy? And if he/she/it wins would be a tolerable puppet for us?”
Sleepy Joe gets the nomination and they pick Mochelle (or someone equally obnoxious) as VP.
Suddenly the Reade issue will become a big deal.
Sleepy Joe gets booted and the mooch becomes the candidate. This bypasses the messy issue of how to deal with bernie the socialist.
They are going to slip her in on us only weeks before the election.
The move fires up her enthusiasm support factor with the wagon jumpers (particularly independents). She will be portrayed as the savior underdog in the race. Everyone loves an underdog.
It gives the dims a clean slate for campaign ads by forcing the republicans to completely revise theirs with a short time to the election.
They will prove Lincoln right proving , "You can fool All of the people some of the time".

Hillary in 2016 with superdelegates, Biden over him this year and then convenient ignoring of him as the replacement for Biden. Bernie can get tax free bribe money plus another dacha but his supporters get a piece of beef jerky and a Barry Manilow CD. Gee, thanks.
