Likely Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has a problem beyond his gaffes, the new focus on a sexual assault claim, and the lack of superstar progressive endorsements.
Much like Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016, his supporters arent hugely excited about voting for him.
And according to the latest Emerson College Pollings survey, Democrats appear to be throwing in the towel.
While Biden leads President Trump in a head-to-head matchup, 48%-42%, when voters overall were asked who they really think will win in November, its a Trump blowout, 57%-43%.
Trumps supporters have legendary loyalty and have stuck with him through the impeachment process and in the coronavirus fight. Both should have also energized his critics to vote him out of office.
But the Emerson voting enthusiasm numbers show that isnt the case.
Emerson found that Trump has a sizable 19-point advantage in the enthusiasm gap, 64%-45%.

Trump’s polling is at its floor. We have passed the worst of the pandemic and news will only brighten moving forwards: economic, stock market and medical.
Well, those unenthusiastic Biden voters are in luck since there is almost no chance he will be competent to run by November.
I think a lot of voters look at Biden and think “I’d feel terribly guilty putting that sick old man into such a high-pressure job”.
I know when I look at Joe these days it’s hard to feel anything but sorry for him.
I’m so enthused I’m going to vote twice!
IF, and it’s a big if, Biden becomes the nominee, Trump will lay waste to him with the sexual assault information. That will kill some liberal women’s enthusiasm.
The media can hide this all they want, but Trump tweets are catnip to them. They can’t resist, they can’t stop themselves.
Trump voters will crawl over burning coals and broken glass to get to the polls this November.
Once people get comfortable staying home, Democrats are going to have a hard time getting people to get out to vote. Only the political junkies will bother.
After they select a radical VP nominee they will be jazzed.
I’m sure a lot of dems realize there’s a high probability of a candidate switcheroo this summer.
“Broke glass” Republicans are passe’. We all need to commit to kill three Rats on the way to the polls to vote. . . . /sarc
Un-possible, Faux news told us Biden is 8 points in the lead.
“waste to him with the sexual assault information. That will kill some liberal womens enthusiasm.”
Doubtful. It didn’t hurt Clinton in the least. It rarely is harmful to RAT candidates, if ever. It might actually have helped them in some sick way.
How can this be? Fake News has Biden winning by 20pts?
I can only speak for the enthusiasm of myself, but I’ve been voting since ‘88, and I’ve never wanted a candidate to win as badly as I want Trump to win this year. I was a Cruz supporter in the ‘16 primaries, but never has an elected official been treated so unfairly as Trump has been treated the last 3.5 years. Never has an elected official done so good of a job and been given so little credit. Never has an elected official been the subject of absurd and obscene witch hunts since BEFORE he even took office. The Democrat/media establishment has never forgiven him for committing the unforgivable sin of beating their fair-haired girl, Hillary Clinton. So, yes, I couldn’t be more enthusiastic about reelecting him.
They’re not voting for Biden, they’re voting against Trump. Enthusiasm may not be up there but it’s turnout that counts. Hopefully that will be down too.
Trump needs to get off the stage and act as a facilitator rather than a doctor. Let the Admiral, real doctors, CEOs, etc. do the talking.
Big Mike as VP is the only one that will motivate the dems to vote. They love the America-hating tranny POS.
On a slightly different subject - has anyone noticed that liberal polltakers always get the results they want? The results that make liberals look right, or loved or believed or whatever. Then actual elections corrupt those ‘mistakes’..
No way she’ll play second fiddle to a white man.
