We will never be those ‘screaming people’. I have more faith in my fellow American Citizens than to believe that.
Perhaps we could suggest some ‘other phrases’, instead of just complaining (?)
Perhaps:
‘I understand President Xi’s position, from his viewpoint’; but I don’t necessarily agree’.
‘I have good communication with President Xi, and we continue to work through our disagreements’.
