He sure was. He was arguing that all counties should be treated the same based on two examples of counties with about 34,000 population. One had over 100 cases and the other had 10 deaths. True, these counties and other downstate counties with large numbers should take precautions. But several counties have 3, 2, 1, or 0 cases. Restrictions should be less stringent for those counties.
It is obvious now that the BS excuse of "flattening the curve" has run its course. People will die or recover at whatever rate the government imposes, but they will die or recover at whatever their dispositions govern.
Either that scenario plays out within one month with no restrictions and a recovering economy, or it is extended ad infinitum and the USA reverts to 3rd world status.
Works the lawsuit, if successful, compel those who are afraid to go out to do so? If not, buzz off. The fearful’s right to swing their government around stops just shy of the end of my liberty.
Let the fearful hibernate away the rest of their miserable existence and order everything delivery.
Let the rest of us LIVE!
Damn straight analysis !
Too damn right!
Conservatives from all over the state have adopted DARREN BAILEY as their "Representative". He's speaks out against the status quo.
Oh, well. Wouldn’t want to destroy the collective. What the hell is she, the Borg?
The greens are whispering, “Look how the Earth has healed, we need this same power because OUR climate models say the world will end if we don’t.”
Is that Pritzker about to explode?
If only he would!
This was Madigan’s first public statement in over a month (of course he may have been preoccupied with his defense attorneys). In effect, Madigan has been enabling Pritzker by canceling all of the legislative sessions since early March.
Pritzker has been running the state government because the Illinois General Assembly has failed to convene any sessions.
