More US states are beginning to lift lockdown orders even as US leaders say social distancing guidelines will be necessary throughout the summer.
But governors warn that life will not quickly return to normal, and that restrictions will remain in some places to keep the virus from resurging.
On Friday, the US saw its largest single-day spike in cases.
But the infection rate has dropped significantly in several hotspots, including New York, the US epicentre.

Good Words,
Thanks.
...people wearing masks, walking their dogs on back roads in the middle of nowhere.

Panic Induced OCD.
People masked and gloved in their cars alone.
People with googles, masks, raincoats and shower caps scuttling along close to the shelves in the grocery stores, eyes wide in terror as they see those of us unencumbered.
Cashiers masked and gloved, but stockers not.
People isolated in their homes who go out once every 2 weeks, then scrub every surface when scrubbing is not essential if you spritz with alcohol, then they re-clean every few hours even though no one else has entered nor has any package entered.
Meanwhile, when (if) these folks finally emerge, they are in a weakened immune state and susceptible to whatever mutation of all the viruses in existence has occurred.
Summer is almost here. It will be hot outside, the perfect atmosphere to kill the virus. But the panicked will stay indoors with their a/c running, recirculating whatever is already in the space, afraid to open windows or go outside and get some Vit D.
As my neighbors say:”It’s so crazy.”
...no worse type of businesses to open at this time.

Please reevaluate your concerns. You are free to stay isolated and avoid whatever you are avoiding. Let everyone else also make their own choices.
...feel free to scream and yell and howl at the moon.

I’m just going to SMH while I live my life and build my personal immunity.
I’ve never been much of a screamer, yeller or howler and I just walk away from those who do.

Really, so she comes to work sick? And then where’s a mask, no thank you

She is a sole practitioner. If she doesn’t work, she doesn’t eat. She is showing the exact same consideration that anyone who is masked for COVID19 shows today.
Masks protect others, not the wearer.
I’ve gone to her for nearly 60 years. Her home and shop are spotless. Neither my husband or I have ever caught a thing. We know her entire extended family and they are all healthy, considerate, decent and clean.
I second that 1000%. I have seen it as well. The hysteria is palpable.
I went to the bank to deposit some checks at the ATM. There were 2 police units parked in the area due to vandalism and burglaries. The police were lounging about talking to each other, no masks. I guess their uniforms make them immune.
Across the street a homeless guy was singing and ranting as he laid across the sidewalk. They are exempt. This is just a snapshot of the SF outer districts as the Karen's virtue signal to whomever will listen. They have no concept of what is going on and will willingly line up at the train station for the next boxcar.
Give me a break, nobody “has” to go to work sick, so she has strep throat and she comes into work cause she’s gotta eat?
Done replying, later
More like a slight cold, actually.
But go away if you want, that’s fine.
Yes, Line up for the next boxcar because “if it saves just one life”.
