I’m in Upstate NY. In our county, all 5 deaths were from 1 nursing home. Between residents & staff, they are approaching 60 cases.
My wife is staying on our place in Arkansas, all of that county’s cases are in a nursing home.
I’m upstate NY also. 17 deaths in our entire county, almost all were elderly, with existing serious health conditions.
Not downplaying their loss, but if you are over 80 and already near death due to a serious condition and then catch a virus - any virus - you probably won’t make it.
