Trump's travel ban--which, indisputably, he alone advocated--bought us time to mobilize and respond. He was savaged by the press and the left but he was 100% right and, no doubt, saved thousands of American lives.
These reporters know better than we do what the feds did during Feb with all the conference calls & round tables with biotech, hospitality, travel and various other industries to look at what resources could be brought online to deal with ventilator and PPE shortages to keep ahead of need--WHICH WAS SUCCESSFUL and what economic impacts would exist to look ahead to coming out of the shelter-in-place mitigation strategies.
These reporters can't even tell the truth about testing. Yes there was a problem with one reagent but why didn't we use the outside tests? Quality. Look at what other nations who relied on those tests have discovered. Look at the defects in PPE from China that Europe is discovering. Same with ventilators. There's thousands of unusable ventilators which is why Trump has continued to push production here so American can help not only itself going forward but do what America does best: help the rest of the world.
On testing, Trump made sure it was possible in a regulatory fashion for our private industry to develop their own tests which gave us the Abbott point of care test in record time and other test types so we could scale, so we could make use of the lab capacity in our country. We might not have all we need for Phase 2, yet, but the taskforce has said states have all that's required for Phase 1 reopening.
American First has always been the best course for the world over. A strong and generous America is not isolationist. Far from it, it's an American prepared to weather any storm. Globalism has gutted the critical capacity of so many countries. France's primary mask facility recently closed because they outsourced, now they're scrambling.
We are very lucky Trump won and not Hillary.

Sorry, I tend to agree with this. Trump was positive and great at the start and then he let Dems Dr. Doom and his sidekick get out there and spread panic. And he’s gone along with it. Criticizing Kemp for opening up Georgia has lost him a lot of votes in the South, I can tell you that. These voters won’t vote for dems, they just won’t vote.
He’s got to be more positive and more aggressive about reopening the US or he will certainly lose.
