A pandemic of the novel coronavirus has now killed over 200,000 people worldwide.
More than 2.89 million people across the globe have been diagnosed with COVID-19, the disease caused by the new respiratory virus, according to data compiled by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. The actual numbers are believed to be much higher due to testing shortages, many unreported cases and suspicions that some governments are hiding the scope of their nations' outbreaks.

The black death, if correlated percentage-wise, would be about at least 1 BILLION dead and yes that would be in the early stages.
40 percent of Europe was wiped out.
What percentage of 7 billion is 200k?
And twice that number, or more, in China.
Does that include car accidents?
How many do you suppose would be dead without the benefits of modern medicine?
I don’t think this Far’s is that big a deal for most people , but for some people it’s real serious
I worry seriously about the third world - I think it’s going to get hit hard by this thing and those people are going to be really screwed , because they don’t have good medical care or anything like that
For example I feel like what’s happening in Ecuador right now I’ve seen some videos there’s just body bags lining the streets - that’s gnarly dude!
In a place like India Pakistan Indonesia places with all those people poor people stacked up on top of each other filth in the streets this thing could run through like ——

Worldwide the annual flu deaths range from 250,000 to 500,000. So there’s that....

All over the world, nations have put their populations on lockdowns. This doesn’t happen with seasonal flu. What do they know that you don’t?
Make Red China pay.
Comparisons to the Black Death, last year’s flu, etc. don’t matter. If some private company - through their own negligence - killed 200,000 people, they would be made to pay. Red China should be treated no differently.
But how to make them pay? At a very minimum, put a tariff on Red Chines goods.
