The great irony is that NY City is suffering exactly because it is an INDOOR place. People cram into subways, they live in densely packed high-rises or worse, crowded public housing. They share elevators and tight sidewalks.
So criticizing people who are spread out on a hot, sunny, outdoor, ocean beach is just stupid. Their chances of getting Covid are zero.
What is this world coming to?
No chance that the virus will survive the 95 degree readings we are already having inTexas.
Not dumb, the evidence is now showing this to be no more deadly than a flu. Originally they told us, based on the model, it was 3% lethal which would be devastation.
Now it is obviously showing to be .1 or .2% lethal, 20 to 30 times less than they told us.
Hit the beach, and ponder what this hoax panic might tell you about the global warming models.
Having fun on a beach is “stupid.” Cramming yourself into subway cars filled with mutants from every Third World dump is “cosmopolitan.”
No wonder there are more and more people in this country who wouldn’t give a damn if New York City was quarantined forever.
Maybe not as potent but it’s still going to be around. Just look at what’s happening in Ecuador.
I may go to the beach myself this weekend. If I see a coronavirus, I’ll club it over the head with a two-by-four.

Russian Roulette is a one-in-six chance. I think the odds of suffering any ill effects from a virus (any virus) are quite a bit larger.
Exactly. A dam break is a great analogy. The American people will have to lead out of this. The politicians will not. They will stay in fear and politically based paralysis.

If you go with your family, of course you don’t need to sit six feet from them. Everyone at the beach is decent and remains 6 ft apart and there are police who tell you to do so.

The passage of time will reveal this lock down to be the stupidest public policy that has ever been implemented. So many of our leaders, our supposed intellectual superiors, have opted for suicide by government.
During a pandemic you quarantine the sick, not the whole healthy population. Intelligent policy would be to assist those who are vulnerable to this disease to isolate themselves for their own safety and to quarantine the sick and provide them medical care. These clowns would have us die in the dark by starving to death from poverty.

The photograph in the article certainly does not support the panicky New York headline. Family members seem to be close to each other, but otherwise people in the photo are much more than the stupid 6 foot rule apart.
