Lysol and Dettol maker Reckitt Benckiser warned people against using disinfectants to treat the coronavirus, after U.S. President Donald Trump suggested researchers try putting disinfectants into patients bodies.
"Under no circumstance should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body (through injection, ingestion or any other route)," the company said.
Trump said researchers should try to apply their findings to coronavirus patients by inserting light or disinfectant into their bodies.
Is there a way we can do something like that by injection, inside, or almost a cleaning? he said. It would be interesting to check that.
Reckitt said due to recent speculation and social media activity, it had been asked whether internal usage of disinfectants may be appropriate for investigation or use as a treatment.

Is it safe for Democrats?
I say yes.
Here’s another piece of advice :
Don’t blow-dry your hair while you’re in the bathtub.
Well if they read some of these trolly comments
in this thread theyd have a right to think that
Did they have their lawyers write a statement asking people not to eat Tide pods as well?
Agreed - if it was trolling on his part - it was WAY too subtle.
They cant even place enough of their products
in our stores. Purposefully or no
Attack people all you want - it was a bad sound bite. an unforced error. Your quote: ‘Is it safe to assume you blame Trump also for the Darwin award winner drinking fish bowl cleaner because Trump talked...” -—I read that in soyboy falsetto/bully voice. So, not convincing at all. Let us all move on.
The problem with these pressers is there is very little day to day changes, or if there is, it can be handled in a 10 minute brief.
I love Trump but even as a diehard supporter some of this stuff is getting cringe-worthy. In Trump’s world, being in front of the camera is better than not, regardless of the reason or the topic. I think people are fatigued by all of this and it doesn’t help when Trump rambles on about topics he doesn’t know much about. Unlike a rally where he can talk about policy and accomplishments, this is much different. He should stick to twice a week and make it more of a state-of-the-nation kind of appearance.
Maybe we shouldn't have stopped them.
Patriots know Trump was spitballing, asking questions. The far left(media) spins it as a directive.
It's the faction that doesn't care about politics, you know, stupid people, who have to be told not to inject Clorox into their veins.
Senior citizens?, like the ones who chugged fish tank cleaner? Yes, most are idiots, a few exceptions, but mostly spoiled and ignorant - dying to flush their SS checks down the slot machine hole. But some are good people.
OMG.
But come to think of it, if these people were no longer voters ... just sayin’ ...
America has way too many people who are lazy physically and mentally.
What did Trump say and what did he mean?? I didn’t see it.
The problem with these pressers is that they serve no useful purpose that can't be handled by the Press Secretary. All it has become is the media trying to get a rise out of Trump and Trump accommodating them. I'm sure the President feels that they serve a purpose but I can't imagine what that is.
Yes it was and he should not give live ammunition to a hostile media like this. He loves to troll, but, sometimes, he should just not comment.
Al-Reuters is fakenews
Guess you have to warn some people:
