President Donald Trump ripped Washington Post reporter Philip Rucker on Thursday after Rucker questioned the president about encouraging people to go outside.
After the White House released a study showing that warm weather and sunlight can significantly reduce the risk of the coronavirus, Rucker asked the president if it was “dangerous” for him to encourage people to go outside. “Here we go. The new headline is Trump asks people to go outside, that’s dangerous,” the president said. “I hope people enjoy the sun, and if it has an impact, that’s great.”
When Rucker persisted with his line of questioning, Trump responded by calling him “fake news.”

IIRC Rucker is the guy who lied about Churchill’s bust being removed from the Oval Office.

The Dem operative from the Wapo had it coming. It was a great moment.
Notice how these jackals in the media keep moving the goal line. We were told from the the beginning that the idea was to "flatten the curve" so that the hospitals would not be overwhelmed. By virtue of the fact that NYC has not had anywhere near the surge that was predicted, (i.e. the unused Javits Center and the US Navy hospital ship), it looks as though we are over that hump.
Now it is being suggested by the media that it is "dangerous" to even go outside, so we should remain sequestered indoors until the virus simply decides to "disappear".
They have given us a binary choice: Stay inside or you will die (or at the very least, be hospitalized), which is pure nonsense. If you are in a vulnerable population, then by all means, stay home or wear a hazmat suit outdoors. As for the other 99% of us; we should be allowed to live our lives and provide for our families. The notion that the government can guarantee us all a risk-free existence is simply fantasy. An economic collapse will destroy everyone, including those we are allegedly trying to protect.

Saw nadller the taddler on no see tv this morning. It was outdoors and he had a mask on. Couldn’t ascertain the validity of what noise he was making because the standard democrat test for lies of lips moving was indeterminable.
I watched the exchange. It was a total piece of “restroom journalism.” *ucker twisted Trump’s words and attributed to him a position that Trump did not take. Trump was totally right call out this miserable *ucker guy.
