Italian prosecutors are considering criminal trials for health officials after grieving relatives of coronavirus victims demanded justice for their negligence. More than 45,000 people have joined NOI Denunceremo - meaning We will report - which is a Facebook group where testimonies are being gathered for magistrates. The group was created by Luca Fusco whose father died from coronavirus in Bergamo, in the Lombardy region of Italy which has been worst-hit by the virus. An official probe has already begun at a hospital in Alzano Lombardo in Bergamo - where coronavirus symptoms were not recognised and the disease spread through the facility and beyond.

I remember a story in the past Italian prosecutors pressed charges against seismologist because they failed to predict an earthquake. I am not a big fan of prosecuting public officials for incompetence.

Can we do something like this to prosecute Fauci for destroying people’s lives?

It’s not the government’s job to inform the public. But socialists in particular think it’s their job to breast feed us from cradle to grave and ensure our happiness. Government’s job is to protect our rights, which Europeans want very little of anyway it seems.

what about cuomo’s blatant negligence and vile disregard for human lives? He not only is negligent, He’s passed a law enforcing his disregard for human life-

Where’s the media on this? Where are the lawyers? Suing on behalf of loved ones who lost their family members because of sheer arrogance and hubris on the gov’s part? 10’s of 1000’s of lives could have been saved- where are the lawyers? there should be a huge massive class action lawsuit- but we haven’t even seen a threat of a lawsuit-

The left are whining about how it’s ‘too sonn to open the country’ claiming ‘people will die if you do this’ Yeah msm? People have died by the 1000’s in NY because of the gov’s disgusting EO- and you all say nothing about that!

Yes. They pressed charges against and got manslaughter convictions of six seismologists for not predicting an earthquake, but they were later acquitted.

Some years ago I read the book – The “Monster of Florence” by American author Douglas Preston and Italian crime reporter Mario Spezi. They were doing an investigation into and writing a book about an unsolved series of serial murders and of the possibly botched police investigation, only to be prosecuted by Italian prosecutor Giuliano Mignini who came to suspect them and accuse them of crimes including obstruction of justice and potentially being accomplices to the murders and both were interrogated without lawyers and Spezi was imprisoned. Spezi was also accused of being part of a Satanic cult that Mignini thought, without evidence, responsible.

Mignini also prosecuted Amanda Knox in the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher. He also accused her of witchcraft and Satanism.

The Italian justice system is seriously screwed up.

We need a very strong after action investigation into out health system here. It seems that state health organizations have been completely incompetent. I’m not talking about knowing the virus was coming, but of not knowing what they had within their states as far as testing equipment, ventilators, etc. The federal government had to inform then about their equipment and facilities. What the heck do they do every day other than travel to conferences. They were caught flatfooted about capabilities within their state. Same goes with the NIH and CDC.
