The “poor” indians were defeated. The LIB losers then decided to give them reservations. Now the indians have many casinos. They have their own “countries” within our country. They run they bureau of indian affairs (most government “workers” there are indians) where they continue to steal taxpayers’ money. What more do these once defeated people want? Reparations are likely next. Screw’em. Join the culture, work like the average Citizen and quietly live you life. Cry me a river.
I don’t know what you mean by “defeated.” The reservations in the original states were established through treaties — many of which even pre-date the U.S. Constitution. That’s why the Constitution has specific references to Indian affairs ... long before any of the military campaigns against the tribes on the Great Plains.
