Ahhhh yes “science”. This was the continual claim of the Soviets, Nazis, and the Margaret Sanger Eugenics followers. They were only following “science”. This was repeated throughout their existence.

Hmmmm ... sounds like he could be talked into euthanasia ...
“Science must be the guide” ummm riiight. No doubt the same scientists who told us in 1980 that the earth will overheat by 2020.
Politicians are elected to make the tough decisions, not to delegate to scientists. We could also reduce flu deaths by quarantining every winter but the electorate wouldn’t stand for that. I have a feeling they won’t stand for this much longer, either.
If “science must be the guide not politics” how about Governor Nusance stops playing Medical doctor, and cancels his house arrest medical diagnosis.
Cause a political answer to that is civil war to overthrow his illegal rule.
