Australias prime minister is blasting the World Health Organization Tuesday over its stance on wet markets, calling it unfathomable that the U.N. agency supports them reopening in China.
Scott Morrison made the comment just days after a bipartisan group of congressional lawmakers urged WHO to shut down all wet markets globally. The markets recently began opening their doors again in Chinese cities like Wuhan, which have lifted their coronavirus lockdowns.
I think thats unfathomable, frankly. We need to protect the world against potential sources of outbreaks of these types of viruses, Morrison told the Nine Network television station. Its happened too many times. Im totally puzzled by this decision.

If only! There are millions of these markets filled with communist forced populations who do not know better.

Just a note, the Director-General of the WHO is not an MD. He received his PhD from the University of Nottingham in Community Health. His dissertation was on some disease in the waters around his area of Africa.....or something like that.
Why is this guy Head of the WHO??

Can’t remove a convenient scapegoat for the next virus that comes out of China.

So what? It’s unfathomable that we still support WHO, too. But we go right on doing it.

The China Virus came from the Wuhan virology lab.
No need to close the markets.

Yep. And the CCP needs to pay dearly for that.

It may be ‘unfathomable’ but it’s easy to understand when you consider who’s scratching WHO’s back.

This one did. But there's been plenty of diseases and whatnot coming through the wet markets. They certainly need to be shut down, or somehow have much improved sanitary conditions imposed. The biggest problem though is that these function as grocery stores for many poor people in China and other countries. Even if their government tried to shut them down, they'd just become a bit more decentralized but you'd still have, functionally, the same wet market as before. Just more spread out through the city, or in a new location. It needs to be a cultural shift, not just a tyrannical edict. As China moves more into Second World/First World status, her people will start to move more towards better sanitation and cleanliness, but it's gonna take a loong time on its own.

If china wants to re-open their filthy wet markets thats their own business but its our business not to let any filthy infected Chinese into America.

Yeah well you will have to pay the WHO more under the table than the Chinese, otherwise nothing changes. The US is clueless as always paying above the table. Lol. One must assume that any global based organization is bought and paid for on this planet.
