TRUMP: Sorry Fake News, its all on tape. I banned China long before people spoke up. Thank you @OANN
Original Tweet:
Fauci is now saying that had Trump listened to the medical experts earlier he could've saved more lives.
Fauci was telling people on February 29th that there was nothing to worry about and it posed no threat to the US public at large.
Time to #FireFauci...
“He needs to keep his friends close, but his enemies closer
Fauci needs to remain on the task force, but not as a trusted source”
Agree. Letting Fauci out into the “wild” would be a larger mistake then keeping him.
No he didn't, and I'm not a Flubro.
On February 29, he was saying that people should just go about their normal business.
Yet he let Jake Tapper insinuate that Fauci was telling President Trump to initiate social distancing, etc the third week of Febury.
That's garbage.
He needs to go...
So why is he still pulling a pay check?
Do you know what Tony Faucis job is and what he gets paid for?
:) Sick of his act.Fake.

Better to change his role. Firing him just ads gas to the flame. Move him, freeze him out. Use his contradictory statements as cover for removing him from the head table.
This move is the set up to destroy Trump when the new cases/deaths come after he opens the country up a bit. Fauci knows Trump has every intention of dong at the end of the month.
The good die young. *ssholes just go on and on and.....
CC
President Trump knows what he is doing with that retweet.
Sheesh..... perhaps if someone with some sense would have done a simple cursory dive on those clowns, it would have been painfully obvious there was an agenda at play.
Here’s an interview with Jesse Waters. Waters presses Fauci a bit and Fauci explains.
He said, "That idiot Trump did not listen to me when I asked him to shut this down, and waited for 3 more weeks, and now look at all the deaths" - According to Breitbart and Townhall. In actuality, his statement was vague, but could be misconstrued.
"I'll play you in the movie, Anthony.
But whats in the box, I mean, vaccine?"
Not to defend Fauxci, but I like the straight scoop. Pence demanded no one go on cable without approval (which Dr. F probably had). The headline is also very distorted in a typical Fake News way.
Full context reveals Fauxci didn’t go quite this far. Even Breitbart had a misleading headline.....followed by another story that seemed to indicate the opposite.
agreed. I don’t think it was an oversight by Trump that the tweet said ‘firefauci’....
Wouldnt the exponential phase have started from a smaller base had this been taken seriously earlier?
Hasnt the failure to test like other countries have managed to been a significant screwup?
Didnt the president, based on his remarks in January and February, seem to think it would not be a big deal here?
Against these claims one can argue (and I assume some Freepers would) we shouldve taken a Swedish attitude from the beginning and maybe paid almost the same price in terms of sickness and death without so much economic disruption. but I think its hard to argue that the president gave this epidemic the importance it turns out to have deserved until rather late in the game.
Its true that many screwups were by people in the CDC and TSA. (Think about those long lines at the airport after the announcement that entry from Europe would be banned.) But the president is the chief executive, literally. Screwups on his watch in the executive branch are his screwups. I fear that had Obama or Clinton had the sequence of decisions Trump has, Freepers would be outraged. Its true he banned much travel from China when most leaders around the world werent, but thats only one step, taken after the virus was already ensconced in the country.
If you think he was incapable of doing anything to make the epidemic less severe from the first time US intelligence noticed there was a problem, perhaps in late December or early January, then nothing more I say can persuade you that the president is not pristinely without blame, and that he screwed up before March. I think he could have done better, and his supporters have a right to feel disappointed in his initial lack of seriousness. Yes, thats hindsight, but hes the president, with a huge intelligence and contagious-disease bureaucracy, for goodness sakes.
If it turns out that he asked these people early (from early January, when the news that something weird was going on was capable of being widely known) and often whether the disease might be a serious problem for the US, and was advised not to worry, its nothing, I will retract everything I have said here. But I dont think he did.
But the problem is we had no idea at the time how many people were infected, cause Faucci’s team screwed up the testing kits and they all had to be remade.
What exactly would we shutting down for?
Why do a full shut down
If you look at the maps the areas most effected were dense populated areas, if you look at the area with the most infections, NYC has that subway system that is nothing but a giant germ incubator. That is how is spread.
Shutting down the subways would have saved lives.
The subways are all still running to this day and are just as packed because DeBozo cut the number of trains running each day.
I’m really looking forward to the next press conference when Jim Acosta tries to put Trump on the spot with this, and Trump then nukes him.
Really, that’s going to be epic.
It is now too late for contact tracing in much of the USA.
“There was no forgiveness involved.”
Likely this wasn’t simply a mistake, either. Fauci should have known better, probably did know better.
