The Texas governor knows his days are numbered regarding his executive orders. They are bullshit and have no weight of law. Neither do the orders by Texas mayors or Texas county commissioners that reference a Texas law regarding “disasters”. They cannot overrule the US Constitution and throw out numerous rights including due process.

There will be lots of litigation coming. All it takes is for one lawyer to get a judgement regarding the takings clause. That might be hard because of the huge scope of the resulting flood of damages but it’s possible.

These politicians who have illegally destroyed people’s property better get their acts together and quickly. The cure was worse than the disease and now we are looking for a monster mess that goes on and on after the doors of business get opened back up.

A grocery store distributes food. A restaurant distributes food. How can anyone in government say one lives and one dies? Without due process? How can they say Wal-Mart stays open but the dry cleaners cannot?

These moronic politicians can’t seem to fathom that they produce not a penny and that by destroying their own tax base they are screwing themselves.

What a mess......

Considering the nation runs on a total deficit, they don’t have to care.
