The wife.
The mistress was hardly ever seen around the business. In her own words “his trucking business is his *other* toy.”
The wife came in after his death and ran the business into the ground in under a year.
She started slashing costs by firing two mechanics and cutting the pay of the other two the first day. Those two left within weeks.
The office staff completely turned over in two months.
By the third month we drivers started leaving as we found other jobs.
That woman could curse like a sailor and never took responsibility for her own actions. Everything was always someone else’s fault.
Except her son.
That prissy little fruit could do no wrong.
