You have the most ironic tagline given your sentiments.

The only difference between Donald Trump and me is that I would make a big push for testing. Quick, simple testing , both antibody and just to see if you have the virus or not would put the economy back at 100% in no time. It would not surprise me one bit if before the end of this he is thinking on my lines too.

So you’re voting for someone who disgusts you in the next election?

Mind sets like yours that have zero tolerance for the introduction of new ideas are the breeding ground for fascism.

Actually, looks like President Trump has come to my way of thinking a lot sooner than even I thought!

Governors, get your states testing programs & apparatus perfected. Be ready, big things are happening. No excuses! The Federal Government is there to help. We are testing more than any country in the World. Also, gear up with Face Masks!

Who disgusts you again?

I actually doubt King Solomon was into the lost art of darning, although 1Kings 4:33 And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.

So, chances are with that much naturalist knowledge, he might have been able to add a thing or two to the current situation.

Folks, some tests are sensitive and some are not - if you are not very sick, it won’t pick it up. And some tests are sensitive but inaccurate: wrong half the time.

Some tests cost a whole lot of money and need to be saved for when they are absolutely essential. Sometimes it takes time to optimize a test and bring down its cost.

I’m just trying to point out that things are not always as simple as they may seem. Why haven’t we cured cancer yet?

Informative: thank you!

(Personally, I suspect the CDC mandates that “...anyone who dies with even the suspicion that the person had Covid-19 should/must be coded as dying from the C-virus” is because they don’t want to do what China did - and under count the real problem.)

I don’t disagree this is wholly in God’s hand. However, please also keep in mind -

6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

He won’t. He has already said it’s his decision. And he is going to make the wrong one.

If he goes to May 1, he destroys the economy permanent.

There won’t be any water supply left to gush out of the opened spigot.

I see both the contagious virulence and the fact that it leaves roughly 20% of people with lesions in their lungs, kidney damage, possible central nervous system damage, and so on, as truly a serious problem.

I just don’t see this as something we ought to ignore.

Also, it is quite appropriate for us to care for our elderly. Although the elderly are NOT the only ones to DIE from this thing: Dr. Li Wenliang wasn’t exactly in his dotard -

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-51403795

Mark 13:32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

So, who exactly is my neighbour that I am to love as myself? Luke 10:29.

So no, I don’t think we can afford to ignore this disease. And I feel like it is loving to feel concern for the 20% that is likely to have lasting consequences if we were to simply let this run rampant.

Not every state is in the same situation though, right? Texas has how many infections? Now, New York & New Jersey, how many do THEY have?

Is this why so many die so quickly after they retire? It’s sad that their families and don’t hold similar value to them: I think I would be fine if I could afford to retire and not go out to work. Yes, I would still find something else productive to do, but I believe I would be quite content not having to go to work.

They used to die BEFORE they retired.

65 is a fixed amount of years; but when SS was introduced the average life span was LESS than that.

Now; we are living; on average; MUCH longer; past the 65 mark. I would expect that the dying quickly when they retire will move farther away from retirement in the future.
