In my opinion, as a black woman, Biden’s choice, without question, should be a black woman. Here is why: When Barack Obama secured the nomination for president of the United States of America in 2008, he chose the older, wiser, gray-haired, white male senior senator from Delaware, Joe Biden. Although Biden was not the exciting choice, he was the right choice for the young, black nominee. Obama was going to be the nation’s first black executive. He needed to reassure those nervous about history’s choice, that he would have someone “safe” and known to the public by his side.
Now, Biden needs to send the opposite signal: that it is time for America to trust a woman who represents the backbone of the Democratic Party with the vice presidency, one who is ready on day one, if need be, to serve as president.

Val Demings IMO would be the most dangerous choice for the conservatives. She’s actually got experience and toughness. But again, if Biden laid a hand on her it would not go well on his hug fests.
She almost blew it by having such a shoddy performance in the primaries, but who else do they have. Stacy Abrams was mean to Rerun when she was a waitress and people remember that. Everybody loved Rerun.
Kamala Harris? Black? She’s half Indian (red dot) and Jamaican. Her Jamaican side held slaves. Moved to Canada age 12 and didn’t come back till college.
And has all the charm of a bitter ex wife.

Ok. Trump calls the shots. Make the VP debate in October cover only one subject-racism. No Pence. Only Trump & THE FEMALE. It’s THEIR subject and it’s Trump because she could very likely take over within the 4 years., making the real debate between THE TWO candidates. I’ve said it before. 4 questioners. 3 blacks and one hispanic on the panel. My choice for the designated hispanic is named Juan-Fox News.

The real reason affirmative action choices are offensive is that people, as here, have to debate the pros and cons of value as a vote magnet implying qualities are nonexistent in the black women discussed.
A highly educated, articulate black woman with professional accomplishments will still be seen as “they chose her for her race” “she got her admission over better qualified people” “they must have promoted her due to her race” and “too bad they couldn’t find a qualified candidate instead.”
