I wear a mask when entering retail establishments as a courtesy to the workers. To put them at ease. Nothing wrong with this!
No mask? Wear a bandanna like in the old westerns. Rip up an old white T-shirt and deploy it.
I have seen a few bandannas around mouths and noses. You too can look like a Latin American guerrilla.
Bravo. Good for you. I think many other people are taking it upon themselves to act like the Don...
...and wearing their braggadocio on their sleeves, and lead the lessers out of their feminine ways by going maskless to the store.
I get it...people think if you wear a mask you're granting license to the downfall of civilization. But while my Lord taught me to value justice, he also taught me about love.
I suppose when the workers in the grocery store I frequent are wearing masks themselves, then it might occur to me that they are genuinely concerned about the spread of this virus; it might occur to me as well to put on my own mask.
But because they're not wearing any masks, I have no reason to think that they are any more concerned about exposure to this virus than I am, or that our risk from contracting Coronavirus is greater in a grocery store than it is in any other business establishment.
