Bernie and Warren though have infected the Democratic party with the virus of socialism. It will come back every legislative year like the flu., and so will covid 19.
Candidates do not suspend their campaigns because they cannot see a path to the nomination; they suspend their campaigns because they cannot raise enough money to pay for campaign ads. Bernie suspended (not ended) his campaign because he used up all the money stupid socialists gave him.

I won’t argue against the rest of the article, but believe this thought to be wrong.
Bernie is now and always has been an avowed dyed in the wool socialist. Perhaps that is ego, but it is driven by decades of work with little reward. He was not a wealthy man. By some standards, he is still not wealthy.
He is in my view an American that longs to be a European.
