Watch the POS aholes, er uh vultures, circle the corpse...
Once admitted in the club, they all cover for each other. They have to, lest one compromises all. There are a few that fall into the hands of the law, however. Those individuals were probably on the outs with the rest and a united effort to ostracize, disown, and disavow pays bigger dividends than covering or defending.
RIP.
I'm with you. Feel bad, get terrible diagnosis, die a week later. (and daughter said with a smile on he face).
I can sure think of worse.
RIP, Linda. You did good.
Funny story. I was in a chat room with several other people and a person claiming to be Linda Tripp. I had my doubts, and expressed them to her. Well, she proceeded to rip me a new one! I realized immediately it really WAS her! Then a mod came on and assured me, “Hey, we checked. It really is her”!
I didn’t get mad, but I learned a lesson! I actually thought it was pretty funny!
So saddened by news of Linda Tripp’s passing. She was, in my opinion, a very brave woman. Prayers and condolences for her family. RIP Linda Tripp.
Pancreatic cancer hides as it grows. That is why it is so deadly.
A person wont know they even have it til its too late, or they find it by accident during an MRI, that is the only way to really detect it early
Except when your initials are RGB.
She probably was suffering for months until they finally diagnosed it. They don’t usually find pancreatic cancer until its well established and stage 3 or 4.
I coffeehouse doctor friend told me that they have been searching for indicators of that cancer for decades; no luck. It seems to localize and not affect anything else.
May all FReepers show who we are and what we represent, by speaking words of comfort and blessings for Tripp’s family and loved ones.
...Or am I too late?
Me too. I found FR because of her and I have a tiny picture of her on the door of my office.
"Is that so?"
Yes— Angelwood. Prayers for her and her family.
we had a long time nurse, loved by everybody, who retired and was diagnosed with panc cancer within the next week, did 3 weeks later....life is not fair....
May she Rest in Peace.
Absolutely. (We lurked from the early days and then became totally addicted to FR.) RIP Linda.
RIP
