Wow... so good advice for a pandemic is suddenly “Shoot the messenger” fodder?
I have no love for lock down orders that defy the 1st Amendment clause of peaceable assembly without some present danger to the assembly, yet reasonable isolation, to reduce the infection rate, if not snuff it out entirely, is a reasonable response when no cure is available.

Just yesterday Fauci said it is likely Schools will open on schedule in Sept. Given this creeps single minded drive to eradicate our society/economy I take this statement as a confirmation this BS is all but over.
WE need at least a couple of other Administration experts in this area to speak along with Fauci and Birx both of whom are connected strongly to the liberals and past Administrations.

Reasonable isolation would be isolation of vulnerable populations, not of the entire population. What we are doing is not reasonable. The number of cases is meaningless; it is the number of hospitalizations and deaths that is important. We cannot stop the spread of the virus but we can try to keep it away from those who are most vulnerable.
The messenger is highly compromised. He’s inconsistent and engages in double-talk. In 2014 the mini-doc said that if he had an effective treatment that had not been fully evaluated, he’d use it.
Fast forward a few years, and now HCQ just cannot be used until a group of dying patriots decide to volunteer to be the macabre control group in his grisly test to prove definitively in the highest traditions of the scientific method that HCQ combined with Zinc and an appropriate antibiotic is an effective treatment for the Chinese bioweapon.
He’s got to go. Not a wartime consigliere.

Fauci has been inconsistent in his advice. While I have no doubt he’s a capable professional, he sees things from a narrow perspective. Kind of like the Dr. that orders 6 weeks of bed rest. Is that Dr. going to cover your bills?
I think herd immunity is our way out of this. And I also think that relaxing the recommendations is preferable to an economic crash where people die in even greater numbers for different reasons.
What happens when the next virus shows up? Are you willing to bet it doesn’t happen for a while? Or do you think life on lockdown is where the future lies?
You should watch more “world” news. Most countries are already ending the lock down and have set fixed dates for full employment.
