And pigs *could* fly...
Why is the weather channel reporting this...aren’t they supposed to focus on weather?
Total deaths to date will hit 10,000. Did you think they were implying our one day total today would be 10,000?
Wonder if they’re hoping to like the Democrats who are trying to stop HydroxyChloroquine from being used. It’s amazing that party is trying to suppress the cure so that more people die for their political gain.
They’re correct re total number of US deaths. As of yesterday, it was 9,600+
I think they are referring to total deaths for the outbreak, which could go over 10,000 today. Right now, according to Worldometer, the number is at 9,664.
Ten thousand out of a population of three hundred and twenty million.
They dipped yesterday from the day before and hopefully that continues. But we are at 9664 right now so 10000 will in all likelihood be passed.
And according to the CDC, flu-related deaths have hit 62,143 as of March 28.
Most likely the total will reach that. The breathless headlines are at the ready.
They almost certainly will. But it’s still a fraction of the number of people killed by the flu and a lot of other stuff. The scare about this has always been about how bad it “could be” rather than how bad it actually is.
Even in NY.
And it’s not looking to be all that serious. hey have to keep reducing death estimates.
Meanwhile, this aftermath is very real:

Weather Channel ?
They glomming onto KungFlu cuz there’s no hurricane or something ?
@holes

These guys should stick to trying to get the weather right.
That about correct for the total cumulative deaths.
Cumulative. Even so, how many died “of” covid, vs how many died “with” it from other causes. Whatever causes the most alarm.
And this has WHAT to do with the weather, exactly?
How many have died from conventional flu this flu season?
Maybe they are counting every death for today and many days before...
The Weather Channel is as correct about Wu Flu deaths as it is about climate change predictions.
Not exactly a Mensa collection there.
