President Trump signaled he is open to creating a second White House task force for implementing a plan to reopen the American economy, which is now virtually shut down by the coronavirus.
"Thinking about it, getting a group of people and we have to open our country," Trump told reporters Saturday. "You know, I had an expression, the cure can't be worse than the problem itself. Right? I started by saying that, and I continue to say it. The cure cannot be worse than the problem itself. We got to get our country open."
The president sent a tweet hours earlier endorsing the idea, floated by Fox News anchor and former White House press secretary Dana Perino.
"I think we need a 2nd task force assembled at direction of POTUS to look ahead to reopening of the economy. Made up of a nonpartisan/bipartisan mix of experts across industry sectors, so that we have their recommendations & plan," Perino said.
YES!!!! Get some friken 2nd opinions on this BS!!! Put in people who want to open up the country again!!!
And push Fauci off the stage!
Long overdue and really the only criticism I have of Trump wrt all of this. He should have implemented such a panel to run parallel with the medical task Force.

He’s right.....We’re not seeing anywhere near the predictions touted by Fauci. I truly believe Hillary and Obama are feeding Fauci.
Actually I think this is probably a good idea if he’s very careful about who is on it. We need concrete steps with clear benchmarks because the rats and the MSM will be fighting him the whole way. A recovering economy will be a bigger crises than the virus to those bastards.

I dont think we understand the nature and scope of this event. Donald Trump will remake the economy this way! I may be a bit optimistic but this could be cloward piven in reverse! We all (well... Okay so maybe it was just me..) thought that the democrats were going to use a crisis to introduce their communist revolution and remake america into some kind of venesuelan hell hole. But at this moment i’m thinking that Donald Trump may have read their book!
Now let us contemplate what that may look like?
