Going through my history of my family, my grandmother was born in 1884, in England...my grandfather was born in 1885 in France...my great grandfather was born in Genova, Italy...
There was the Black Plague; there was the depressions, there was the trip to America on the ships...
When I was born in 1944, there was WW1; WW2; Korean War; Vietnam; Iraq; Afghanistan; so I have been a ‘war baby’ all my life there was a war...
I had an opportunity until I was in the 10th grade to attend Catholic School, but the families had to sell the farm because of age, and I went to public school, bored out of my mind, I was so far advanced in education that public education was boring...but you had to have a High School Diploma or you couldn't get a job, that is if you could find one...
And now this, I remember when the Hong Kong flu came out and I took the shot, ended up in ICU for two weeks, they didn't think I would make it...never have taken a shot since, the flu couldn't be as bad as the shot...
I have had the measles, mumps, rubella, chicken pox vaccination 3 times in my life and it will not take in my body, so while raising my 4 children, I was sick right along with them...
But life cannot be today as hard as the days while my ancestors were growing up...we have electricity, gas, food, clothing, housing, cars, anything you can think of and now even, I can go to somewhere online and order stuff...how easy is our life now compared to what life must have been like...
I'm very grateful for how things are, it is sad we have this outbreak and people are dying, it's very sad anytime a life is lost, but just think what it would have been like right now if Our President wasn't in office...

Amen! to your decision re the shots; remembering the polio vaccine, distributed on a sugar cube. For children (and adults), a vaccine much easier to be used. In today’s world we are constantly introduced to pricks. Needles have become a medical professional’s BFF
