Good idea, but the store I frequent has a limit placed at one gallon per customer.
Bread was the same way a couple of weeks ago (one loaf per customer) but it's not that way now.
I got 2 bread, too and froze it. The timing was right as I try to clean out my freezer after stocking up in the fall.
I freeze butter and lemon slices for all those great rich recipes like Chicken French. And I freeze garlic and wine, too. Now cook double batch of chicken french and freeze the cooked product in packages-serves one...moi. Yes!!
