What would happen if a readily available “cure” became available in a couple of weeks, at a great price ? We’d save the economy and resume life.

HCQ will be the saviour and the country will clamor for it damn soon.

Sports will resume, hiring resumes , commerce resumes, peeps feel comfortable shopping and attending events.

I’ve never seen such wimp-ass cowards, shaking in the corner....and they’re the young and healthy ones ! Jeez...ENOUGH ALREADY.

We need MLB and NASCAR fans back in the stands much sooner than August. Granted it’s a fluid situation, but we should be aiming for June and adjust as necessary when the time comes.

Think about this strategy.

Now you have a baseline for return to normal.

Obv way out there in front of what it will actually be.
But, “this ends here”.

And just like the Democrat governors are way out of there element extending to June like Coonman.

Stephen Miller, er , Pres. Trump is setting a date certain. Right now.

Make no mistake about laying down this marker — the Kentucky Derby is set for Sept. 5, and thats on like Donkey Kong, with the big Festival start back at August 15 ie one of the perennially largest fireworks shows in the US which traditionally draw 1M shoulder -to-shoulder.

Now from here, this line in the sand, in the next week, we gently walk this back towards July 4, noting these temporary hospitals have NO occupants. The Navy ships are 10% full.

Also this week Fauci is retired and Blix promoted.

After Fauci is gone, the target now is May 1, all essential businesses and supporting businesses, return to work.

This can be accomplished by citing National Security, but the moment Ford hits their allotment of ventilators, they immediately hang chassis and we are back to production.

From there all supporting business - rolled steel, parts, doors, bumpers, get your ass back in the stack and wear a bandana, whatever. You get it you take Raoult’s protocol for a week and get back asap.

National Security. Return to work. National Security.
Return to work. National Security. Return to work. National Security.

PDJT should be worried about small businesses not a corrupt dope filled sport that disrespects America

I agree with your sentiment, but he tried that two weeks ago, and the MSM accused him of putting profits over lives. The MSM can’t attack the NFL as easily, in my opinion.

That means all NFL players, coaches, trainers and staff will be tested for KungFlu. And season ticket holders too.

I’m sure all pro athletes have been tested. Those folks are a valuable asset, and their owners will act to protect them.

Can't or won't?

Won’t, I think. Which makes them the ideal vehicle for Trumps startup plan. Before, the MSM could say that any restart plan was just for Wall Street, or Big Business, etc.

One might infer a month, or even preferably six weeks or so of summer practice to partially make up for lost spring practice.

However, a bigger obstacle will be getting the NCAA to agree to anything.

One hundred university presidents all in the same room, and all of them wanting to be in charge. Not conducive to reaching a consensus...

One thing they’ll all have in common is liability management...

I’m not optimistic that we’ll have a college season in 2020.

I hope I’m wrong, of course.

They’ll figger something out. Too much money at stake for it to be otherwise.

Who cares?

I gave up on the NFL some years ago when they were unclear what nation they were the football league of.

‘I’m not optimistic that we’ll have a college season in 2020.’

depends on the virus numbers...but, as an aside, I imagine there will be either mass suicide or murder among the Penn State faithful if the season is scrubbed; these people were comparing Paterno’s firing to 9/11...

The sooner the entire population gets tested, the better.

(As long as we’re not forced to get a Bill Gates chip implant to prove that we can go back to work.)
