I have had one moving violation in more than 25 years of driving. I could have fought that one in court, but it was only a $10 fine and I would have had to travel 200+ miles to a court appearance in another state.

I don’t obey traffic laws because the law requires me to obey them. I obey traffic laws because I know how streets and highways are supposed to function.
