Walmart announced it will limit the number of people inside its stores at the same time during the COVID-19 pandemic.....Starting Saturday, we will limit the number of customers who can be in a store at once. Stores will now allow no more than five customers for each 1,000 square feet at a given time, roughly 20 percent of a stores capacity, according to a release. Store employees will start a line at a single-entry door and will tell customers to go there to queue. They will then be allowed in the store one-by-one, according to the company.
Associates and signage will remind customers of the importance of social distancing while theyre waiting to enter a storeespecially before it opens in the morning, the store wrote.
Customers will be admitted inside one at a time when a store reaches capacity.
Well also institute one-way movement through our aisles next week in a number of our stores, using floor markers and direction from associates. We expect this to help more customers avoid coming into close contact with others as they shop, the Arkansas-based retailer said.
And once customers check out, they will be directed to exit through a different door than they entered, which should help lessen the instances of people closely passing each other, it said.
Target on Thursday announced a similar measure to promote social distancing as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) virus continues to spread.

LOL !
They’re gullible/ignorant/partisan/low-IQ CNN/MSNBC watchers. But hey, it’s Walmart. :^)
Finally saw some useful and worthwhile (and concise) info pop in as a YouTube ad this morning.
People Who Are at Higher Risk for Severe Illness

Woman are actually pretty testy these days in general. I got yelled at by a woman because she didn’t think I was far enough away from her, (but I was), and in the next moments she was hacking and coughing without mask or gloves and never covered her mouth at all.
Well, there goes their standing as being mightier than Amazon.
Is that the old people designated hour or does the store not do that in your area?
Just used Walmart Pickup to get groceries. Very efficient, quick and easy. I have a new appreciation for Walmart.
My local Walmart is still technically doing pick up, but it is very limited in schedule and what you can order is also very limited. They are out of stock on a lot of items and the site wont let you order things like just about any type of meat and canned soup. It is so limited I gave up and went to Piggly Wiggly yesterday. They had pretty much everything I needed and no limits like Walmart has (at least on the online orders, not sure about in store). Of course I paid about 20% more.
“Why not just require anyone going into those areas to be wearing a mask and use hand sanitizer going in?”
What would that do? You know those things are not magical right?
We are now the USSR. Controlled by the central government.
Y’all can have my share for now. Trying to dental visits like the plague for now because...well, the whole plague thing.

We went this morning early no crowds yet. They had the yellow police tape outside ready for the outdoor lines. Luckily we got in and out pretty quickly.
I am convinced there are people who are enjoying this.
They get to wield a little power they wouldn’t otherwise have.
Treating everyone like they are school children and they are crossing guards.
I have had walmart workers give me the extended hand indicating stop. I was getting to close to the little “x” they had taped on the sidewalk
Some enjoy the idea of shared sacrifice (moderates) while others get their stones off with shared misery (leftist).
The whole Green New Deal is shared misery and it’s coming sooner than you think. If we don’t cut out this non sense and
get back to work.
The masks could help those that knowingly/unknowingly had this thing keep it to themselves while sanitizer would help reduce surface germs from coming into the store.
That reminded me of a Soviet joke Reagan told, something along the lines of:
A man saves his money for years to buy a new car. Once he had saved enough he went to the car dealership to buy one and the salesman told him it would be 10 years before delivery.
“10 years!”, yes, he was told that was the wait time. “Morning or afternoon?” he asked.
What difference does it make if it’s in the morning or afternoon in 10 years the salesman asked.
“Because the plumber is coming in the morning”.....
“while sanitizer would help reduce surface germs from coming into the store.”
How? Specifically how is using hand sanitizer going to reduce the germs? Again, there is no magic here. A person can simply touch their nose, another part of their body, or something else, and that hand sanitizer isn’t going to magically keep away the germs.
This isn’t Hogwarts.
I went to my fave gas station the other day. Closed. It is NEVER closed. Texted all my family and told them....fill up now before the lines hit.
And just try to find a plasma rifle in the 40 watt range.
I don’t think our Walgreens here sell alcohol; enjoy!
Our Walgreen’s has lines to get in in the morning before they open. Friend of mine that lives in Vegas says it’s the same there. At least 25 old people all waiting for the store to open. On the upside the lines are shorter than Costco’s. lol
