Could you explain why there are no patriots inside the FBI to expose seditious/illegal acts by the FBI?
Is it just their pension?
Not all retired fbi guys are insiders. Their are the headquarters a holes and their syncophant office heads who are aligned with their protégés in each field office verses the true field agents. Cases are rarely run out of headquarters except the trump political witch hunt. Recall the first thing that happened when hitlery e mail found on weiners cell? The field was forced to send it to HQ.
I am not a retired FBI person, but the answer to your question is compartmentalization. If you run a series of investigations out of the top floor of the FBI (highest levels) it is unlikely 99% of agents know anything about it.
Information goes up the chain and they don’t push information about “national security investigations” or “counter-intelligence” down the chain to field offices or field agents.
John Solomon and Dan Bongino have both explained this well. Everything they did against Trump or to protect Hillary was done under the disguise of national security so it was “need to know” and heavily compartmentalized so only a handful of people knew some of the story and only a few knew all of the story. We saw this with some of the officials during the hearings where they (remember Page’s reaction?) were surprised to learn important information.
Merely a report of an interview or details of an investigation, basically an investigative report. Curiously in the old days each office had an obscene safe. If the bank robber used the f word as in this is a f-ing robbery. The reporting agent was required to call in a mature stenographer to take the dictation for the FD-302. A special typed report using carbon paper displayed the actual f word typed out completely. This original report was kept in the obscene safe and a copy of this report with fking written without actually spelling the word was kept on the rotor file system. Each agent then reviewed the final FD-302 and marked it up with a red/blue pencil, sharpened on both ends one red the other blue for the purpose of entering information into the indices system the precursor to the national criminal information computer , NCIC. Life was better in those years.
